Greg Thomas

PASTOR

Pastor Greg Thomas was born and raised in Bassett, Virginia, and was saved by God's grace at the young age of six.

After graduating high school in 1988, he served in the United States Marine Corps, including deployment during Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm as a driver for the Battalion Commander.

In 1995, Pastor Thomas surrendered to preach the Gospel, accepting his first pastorate in 1999 at Lighthouse Baptist Church in Bassett, VA, where he also graduated from Cornerstone Bible College.

In 2006, he followed God’s call to South Boston, Virginia, becoming the founding pastor of True Light Baptist Church, with a vision for a Christ-centered, Bible-centered church.

Pastor Thomas and his wife Connie are blessed with three children—Miranda, Victoria, and Nathaniel. His life verse is John 16:33, a reminder of Christ’s victory over the world.
