Why should you read the right Material?
The Bible tells us that the ONLY way to worship God is in spirit and in TRUTH!
(John 4:24) - "God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth." The Bible also tells us that we must STUDY!
(2 Timothy 2:15) - "Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth."
The Apostle Paul placed a great emphasis on reading the right material, with the greatest emphasis on the Word of God itself. As he was bound in the prison he gave the following instructions - (2 Timothy 4:13) - "The cloke that I left at Troas with Carpus, when thou comest, bring with thee, and the books, but especially the parchments." Reading the Word of God is foremost, but reading the right material (books) is also essential to Christian growth and stability.
